PROMOTION OF INVESTMENTS
OSA carries out promotional activities such as gathering and providing data on manufacturing and investment for investor: producing promotional material such as videos, bulletins and brochures; organising and co-ordinating investment missions; and participating in exhibitions and trade fairs.

SITE APPROVAL APPLICATION PROCESS FOR
INDUSTRIAL SITE DEVELOPED BY PKNP
OSA will accept and facilitate an investor’s application by co-ordinating with State and Federal Authorities, so as to obtain the relevant approvals for investors.

The task undertaken by the OSA will involve the following
 

• To receive the application of land /factory site.
• To receive applications for layout and building plan for approval .The OSA will coordinate with various department and local authority to;

     i.   Obtain special permission to commence work.
     ii.  Acquire the approval of the building plan with the endorsement by the Local Authority.
• To accept and process for the endorsement of the CFO by the local authority
• To coordinate problem solving pertaining to the project
• Application of industrial land under PKNP,  investors are required to forward the Application Form PKNP 26.

• Suitability of the project to location and land size. Under certain requirement,  investors are advise to submit Preliminary Screening Form to obtain comment / feedback report from the  State Department of Environment (Pahang DOE).
• Infrastructure requirement such as water, electricity, telecommunication and gas supplies.
Under normal cirumstances, approval of the land will be granted to investors within 3 weeks of applications.

The OSA will co-ordinate these applications for presentation to the various department and the local Authority within 3 weeks upon sub-mission of these plans.

The Local Authority with co-ordination by OSA, will issue a special authorisation letter allowing works to commence.
CO-ORDINATION OF CONSTRUCTION
When  necessary, OSA will organise regular meeting with investors/consultants and technical departments to ensure all the procedures stipulated and certified are followed.

Upon completion, investors/consultants are required to submit Form E as well as certification from the technical departments to the Local Authority, who will then issue a CFO within 2 weeks from the date of submission of completed Form E.ADVISORY & ASSISTANCE
OSA provides assistance and acts as an advisory to investors in order to oversee the progress of projects.

OSA is a reference centre to trouble shoot problems highlighted by investors

Furthermore, OSA also issues supporting letters to investors for the  following applications:
 

• business premises licence
• permit for commercial vehicles
• workers pass/permit
• certification on behalf of the State Government , upon approval of the project’s location in Pahang , in order to obtain manufacturers licence from MITI

With authorisation by State Government, The One Stop Agency is operated by Pahang State Development Corporation under its Industrial  Development Division.
